Why a Fully Online NAATI Workflow Matters
A significant portion of NAATI translation requests come from people who simply cannot reach a translator’s office: Thai partners already in Sydney waiting on a 820 bridging visa, a Phuket-based property owner traveling on a yacht for six months, retirees in Mai Khao who don’t want to drive 90 minutes into town, or a parent applying for a child’s student visa from a rural Thai village. For all these cases, our NAATI Online service eliminates every physical step without sacrificing certification quality.
Every document is processed by the same NAATI Certified Practising Translators we use for our in-office track. The only difference is logistics: instead of receiving paper originals, the translator works from a high-resolution colour scan you upload, and the wet-stamped hard-copy is couriered later (optionally) to wherever you are in the world.
How the Online Workflow Runs Step-by-Step
Our online portal is built to make every step transparent and trackable. You see the translator’s ETA, the QA stage, and the courier tracking — all in one client dashboard. No phone tag, no chasing email replies.
- Step 1 — Upload scans through our secure portal (max 50 MB per file, 300 dpi colour PDF or PNG recommended).
- Step 2 — Auto-quote within 10 minutes based on document type and page count.
- Step 3 — E-sign the engagement letter (one click), pay online by card / Wise / bank transfer.
- Step 4 — Translator commences; you receive translator name and NAATI number on file.
- Step 5 — Draft sent for your review (transliteration of names, addresses, dates).
- Step 6 — Final stamped PDF emailed (acceptable for ImmiAccount, VETASSESS, university uploads).
- Step 7 — Optional: wet-stamped hard-copy couriered via DHL / FedEx / EMS to any global address.
Typical Online NAATI Clients
The online track exists because the physical track does not work for every situation. Here are the most common profiles we serve.
- Thai partners already in Australia on a 820 bridging visa, needing additional evidence translations for their 801 decision-ready package.
- Phuket residents in geographically remote areas (Pa Klok, Sri Sunthon, Mai Khao, Cape Yamu, Coconut Island) who prefer to avoid the drive.
- Yacht-based clients somewhere between Phuket, Langkawi and Singapore who need translations couriered to a marina.
- Thai students already in Australia needing additional translations for university enrolment (post-arrival).
- Thai nationals based in third countries (UAE, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Germany) preparing an Australian visa application.
- Time-zone-sensitive clients who need to review the draft before stamping outside of Thai office hours.
Scan Quality Requirements (Critical for Online Workflow)
Because the translator never sees the paper original, the quality of your upload is the single biggest factor in turnaround speed and acceptance by the Australian authority. We have rejected scans that were too low-quality more times than we can count, and rather than send the job back to you mid-translation, our QA team pre-checks every upload before the translator starts.
- Resolution — minimum 300 dpi, ideally 400 dpi for documents with small Thai script (police clearance back page, transcript footnotes).
- Colour — always colour scans, never greyscale or black-and-white. Thai government seals are red or blue and need to be visible.
- Coverage — every corner of the document must be visible, including page numbers and back-page certifications.
- Orientation — pages should be portrait (or as printed), not rotated 90 degrees.
- Format — single PDF per document is best. Avoid heavy compression that blurs Thai characters.
- Phone photos — acceptable only if shot in good light, no glare on official seals, and the full document is in frame.
Global Courier of the Wet-Stamped Hard-Copy
For visa subclasses or assessment bodies that require the physical wet-stamped page (rare but still happens — some AHPRA submissions, some paper-based university applications, some immigration agents in Australia prefer the original), we courier the hard-copy by DHL Express to any address worldwide. Typical transit times from our Phuket office: 2–4 days to Australia, 3–5 days to Europe, 1–2 days to Singapore, 3–6 days to North America.
You can also request multiple hard-copies of the same translation (for example, one set for ImmiAccount, one for VETASSESS, one for the university). Each additional set is charged at a reduced re-printing fee, not the full translation fee.
Document Security & Privacy
Online document handling raises legitimate privacy concerns. We protect every upload with end-to-end TLS, store files on encrypted servers physically located in Singapore, and purge all client files 90 days after job completion (or earlier on request). Every translator signs a confidentiality undertaking specific to your file. We never share documents with any third party other than the assigned translator.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย
Is an online NAATI translation legally different from one signed in person?
No. NAATI accreditation attaches to the translator, not to the in-person handover. The PDF carries the same stamp, ID and certification statement as a hard-copy.
Do I need to courier the original Thai documents?
Not for most cases. A high-resolution colour scan is sufficient for the translator. We only request originals for unusual documents (handwritten old records, certificates with embossed seals).
Can I get the translation in time for an ImmiAccount lodgement next week?
Yes — our rush track delivers in 24–48 hours from payment for most standard documents (birth, marriage, police, ID). Larger transcripts may take 48–72 hours on rush.
How do I pay if I’m outside Thailand?
We accept Wise (THB or AUD), Stripe credit card, and USDT for international clients. Thai clients can also use Thai bank transfer or PromptPay.
Will the Australian Department of Home Affairs accept my online-stamped PDF?
Yes. DHA accepts colour PDF NAATI translations through ImmiAccount upload. The wet-stamped hard-copy is rarely required for modern visa subclasses.
Can you courier directly to my migration agent in Australia?
Yes. Provide your agent’s address and we will courier the hard-copy directly to them — and email you the tracking number.
Is my data secure on your upload portal?
Yes. TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, AES-256 at rest on Singapore-based servers, and files purged after 90 days (or sooner on request).
Can I add more documents to an open order?
Yes — up to the moment the translator starts work. After that, additional documents are processed as a new order with the same priority.
What happens if there is a typo in the stamped PDF?
We re-issue at no charge if the typo is on our side. We catch most issues at the draft-review stage, which is exactly why we built that step in.
Do you handle non-Thai source languages online?
NAATI accreditation is direction-specific. Our team holds Thai ↔ English NAATI CPN. For Khmer, Lao, Burmese, Vietnamese and other Mekong-region languages, we maintain a partner network — ask for a quote.
