Steps in the chain3 steps, excluding the queue at the receiving body

The certification chain step by step

  1. Confirm with the Chinese recipient whether an Apostille suffices or the Chinese embassy route is still required.
  2. Sign before a certifier the recipient accepts.
  3. Translate into simplified Chinese; traditional characters are not accepted by mainland bodies.

Common use cases

Before you start

  1. Collect the counterparty's Chinese name and address before drafting.

Cautions and common rejection causes

We pre-check files to reduce the chance of rejection; the receiving authority alone decides acceptance.
