Both formats exist. Online lodgement portals generally accept a digitally stamped and digitally signed PDF, while some counters require the wet-ink original. Never print and re-scan a digitally signed PDF: doing so breaks signature verification and is a common cause of rejection.

The stamp embeds the translator's CPN, language direction and certification expiry, and the QR code links to verification of that practitioner. Upload the original uncompressed PDF so the code stays scannable — re-saving or photographing the page often breaks it.

Yes. Nong Khai clients typically send scans the same day and receive the stamped PDF by email, with paper copies couriered if needed. Documents crossing to Laos may additionally need Thai MFA legalisation, which is a separate process from NAATI certification.

Digitally stamped translations are routinely uploaded through ImmiAccount. Keep the file as delivered — do not print and rescan — so the stamp details and verification code remain machine-readable, and upload the translation together with a scan of the source document.

Yes. International transfers, Thai bank transfers, PromptPay and card payment for overseas clients are all accepted. Intermediary bank fees on international transfers are borne by the sender, and a receipt is issued in the name you nominate.

Yes. NAATI publishes an online directory of practitioners where you can search by language and credential and confirm a translator's certification status and expiry date. The reliable way to use it is to take the practitioner number, the CPN, printed on the stamp of your translation and look it up. If the name, the direction of certification or the expiry does not match, do not submit the document. Any legitimate provider will give you the CPN before you pay.

Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and inspect the signature panel: a valid digital certificate shows the translator's name and confirms the document has not been modified since signing. If the signature panel reports an invalid or missing signature, request a freshly signed file from the translator.

ImmiAccount accepts files up to 5 MB each, with a limit on the total number of attachments per application. Scan at 200 to 300 dpi in greyscale and combine each original with its translation in one file, keeping stamps and signatures legible after compression.

Yes. Translations can be delivered as digitally signed PDFs, which let the recipient verify the signer and confirm the file has not been altered, and can be password protected for transmission. Send the password through a separate channel from the file itself.
