Any Thai-language document you submit needs an English translation. ID cards and house registration are commonly used to confirm identity and the relationship to a financial sponsor, so they are frequently requested even when not on the initial checklist. Having them translated in advance avoids delays mid-assessment.

Most universities and TAFEs require an English translation with verifiable translator details, and NAATI is the format they see most often. Some institutions also accept translations issued by the awarding institution itself. Check the admission page of your destination institution and match the format required.

Engineers Australia requires certified translations of non-English documents alongside copies of the originals, and NAATI translations are the standard route from Thailand. Translate the professional licence, degree certificate, transcript and employment references as one consistent set.

The diploma and transcript are translated in full for assessment. Dissertations are normally handled by translating the title page, abstract and table of contents unless the assessing body asks for the whole text, which keeps cost proportionate while still evidencing the research topic.
