Thailand is a civil-law country without a US/UK-style notary public. International notarization is provided by a Notarial Services Attorney — a lawyer specifically licensed by the Lawyers Council of Thailand under Notice 1/B.E. 2546 (2003), updated 2008 and 2019.
When you receive a notarized document from us, it bears the attorney's stamp, signature, license number, and the Lawyers Council seal. This format is recognized by virtually every embassy and foreign authority worldwide, and is the prerequisite for MFA legalization or Apostille from 2026 onward.
